GPS – Are You Sure Your GPS Works?

GPS

So do you really know where you are in your life, in your business? Feeling a bit lost or losing your enthusiasm?

Probably your GPS needs a service.

No we’re not talking about the GPS you probably have in your phone or your car..

It’s YOU we are talking about.

You can’t blame a machine or an incorrect satellite triangulation.

If you don’t know where you are right now or even worse,  your destination objective, then for sure your personal GPS requires immediate attention.

  1. After nearly working myself to death for others, I finally realized that I, and only I, can be the one to decide whether I fail or succeed in life. So, after much deliberation, I took the initiative and decided to do my own thing. It was a lot of work, and I had so many moments of “Did I mess up?”, “Will I fail?”…..but after a couple of years, thanks to the internet, I am able to finally say that I did the right thing for me and my family.

    • Hi Emily. I can totally relate to you especially with your “did I mess up” thinking. For the first year or so online it was quite a struggle for me. However, determination and more importantly consistency were the key factors that enabled me to get to the position I am at now. Glad to hear you are doing so well now – keep in touch and best wishes for your continued success.

  2. Fail to plan – plan to fail! It is so true! Few things can be as frustrating as feeling like you’re wandering without a plan!

I’m in a similar position right now where I feel the need to re-evaluate my plans and see where things need to be updated, added, or gotten rid of altogether. I feel like I’ve plateaued a bit both in business and in my personal life, though I can’t complain about either really. I’ve taken down my “dream board” where I keep my list of goals and paths to get there, and I’m currently building myself another. It helps so much to have these things in front of you as much as possible to have a visual representation of your goals. I rely on this tool quite a bit so I don’t get lost without directions!

    • Anne thanks for your honest response. All of us at times get “lost” – especially in these times of information coming at you from every possible direction. So easy to get side-tracked and confused and this always results in frustration and lots of time being wasted. We all do it! My advice to you re your plans is to find a quiet place where you can really think about what your priorities are and should be in order t achieve your goals. Notice I did not say “dreams”s to me they are nice to have but are really goals with no accountability attached. Am I being too hard here?
