Your 60 Second Landing Page

Want to try your very first landing page but scared of the technical bits or maybe the cost?

Then I have something special for you today.

There are some great landing page creators available but I thought this very simple method could at least get you started with your first attempt at a landing page.

This simple method removes any competitors completely. You totally monopolize the screen for your visitors.

The link I showed you to select from the embed code of your YouTube video would be the link you promoted to others in your marketing strategy.

Obviously there is no clickable links in this option but it does not require any skills and at least with YouTube “Annotations” and YouTube Cards, you can have your domain name or some other contact details like a telephone number, showing on the screen for all to see.

If your channel is "verified" then you can also add a clickable link right inside your YouTube video that links to any page on your website. Enjoy!

Your Turn

Give me your thoughts about this very simple method in the comments below. Would love to hear your feedback. What do you use to create landing pages? There are many excellent options online such as LeadPages Landing Page Monkey Instapage and OnyaList.

  1. Hi Peter,

Great post, very simple and newbie friendly method for creating a landing page and with the tools that Youtube provide you, the possibilities are endless!! Great idea!!

I have many tools that I use to create landing pages. I have a favourite one for HTML and one for WordPress… My favourite for HTML is one called Squeeze Robot, it’s easy to use, you basically pick an image, enter your headline and tag line text, enter your AR code and hit create, then just upload to your server. My favourite WordPress plugin for creating landing pages is Epic Squeeze, again easy to use and also comes with some stats to help you work out your opt-in rates, T1 % etc etc. It is the one I use most.

Thanks again for a great post Peter, can’t wait for the next tip!!

    All the best,

    • Hi John,
Appreciate the visit my man and like you I am an “Epic Squeeze Page” fan. This 60 second landing page example was just a bit of fun but the possibilities are endless – and free! Thanks for the heads up with Squeeze Robot – I have not checked that one out but I have had lots of success with LeadPages.
